For our client, an international industry company, we are looking for the subsidiary in northern Romania for a

Director of Finance and Administration (m/f)

Ihre Aufgaben

Activities:

  • Manage and supervise the following departments in the plant: Controlling (incl. Budgeting and Reporting), Accounting, Cash management, Credit control (accounts receivable management), Legal department, IT-department.
  • Personal professional involvement in the development of solutions regarding major issues and objectives in the departments under his/her control.
  • Suggest strategies and concepts to achieve financial objectives.
  • Secure the proper effective functioning and constant optimization of the finance and administrative processes (under observance of the standards of group and national laws) in the plant (within and between the departments under his/her control as well as between these departments and the other departments in the plant).
  • Develop and educate the department managers in his/her area of responsibility.
  • Ensure reliable plant reporting (monthly, half-year and annual reports)
  • Constantly optimize together with the plant directors for production, sales and logistics the cost-, risk- and profit situation in all areas of the plant (maximize long and short term profitability while reducing risks).
  • Communicate and negotiate with auditors, customs- and tax authorities.
  • Cooperate with local political authorities and other officials.
  • Manage and supervise the financial and administrative processes in the sales organization in Ukraine.
  • Execution/support of optimization projects and expansion projects in Romania and the neighboring countries
  • Obtain (together with the plant director for production) subsidies (local and EU) with respect to optimization- and/or expansion projects
  • Lead development and optimization of internal controls systems.

 

Ihr Profil

Profile:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Controlling or Accounting
  • Several years of managerial and finance experience
  • Strong management, leadership, organizational and administration skills.
  • Strong intercultural communication, moderation and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Sufficient English for handling negotiations
  • Several years of employment experience with an US or European industrial company in Romania or abroad.
  • Knowledge of SAP R/3 preferable
  • Knowledge of German language preferable
